Why is my 18 mth old so full of wind at bed time

at first i thought it was her formula milk giving her wind as she has a bottle to go to bed with, so i changed it to cows milk an shes still the same if not worse, i press her tummy an it sounds like a water balloon r somethin i desperatly need help, she is in so much pain every bed time now, and because of this i know she will end up gettin used to comin down because shes cryin so i want t try an sort it b4 it gets to this, please help me

It could be that she's lactose intolerant. Also, if you feed her things with a lot of garlic, peppers, onions, beans.. Even if it doesn't seem like a lot to you, she is still only a year and a half, so it could be that. Try cutting back on things like that in her diet and see if that helps. Also, if she is lactose intolerant, they have lactose free milks (whole, skim and fat free). Obviously you'll want to get the whole milk b/c she's still so young. And cut back, or cut out, on anything dairy during the day and night (cheese, yogurt, ice cream, sour cream.. Just anything dairy.) Hope this helps!

Sounds like lactose intolerance. Ask the pediatrician about using Lactaid drops or switch to soy based products.

I know my little one was the same way when she was around 12 months and we use to give her some gas drops to help before her last sippy of milk. Now at two years of age she still gets some gas but it's not as bad as it use to be....oh we also cut out everything from cheese to yogurt after dinner to help.

Milk Protein allergy. Its in just about everything. Biscuits goats milk salami . Try elliminating
