Why is my nine month old waking all night?

My daughter was sleeping through the night (7-6) from 7 months until about three weeks ago. Then she suddenly started waking every hour or two. She isn't teething, she has no teeth and no indication that any are on their way. We make sure her room is a comfortable temperature and nothing helps. I even dream feed her at 10. Nothing has changed with our environment either. What gives? My husband and I are exhausted! Please help. Why won't she sleep? Is there a light at the end of this sleepless tunnel?

My son is almost 9 months and has never really slept through the night. He gets up 5-6 times a night. He used to only get up once a night but then at 5 months of age he started this terrible sleeping pattern. He is not even hungry, he only eats once a night. No new teeth either. If you figure a way to get a good nights sleep please let me know!!!

Growth spurt, teething, separation anxiety... Could be a number of things. The only sure thing about your baby's sleep schedule is that it will change again. And Again. And Again. :) It just takes some trial and error to figure out what she needs.

Shes 9 months old. Thats why. Babies don't typically sleep through the night before a year. If they do its because of luck. Give her time and she will eventually sleep through the night again.
