For about a year now my son(13) has decided not to go swimming, and he is always crossing his arms. This was weird because he loves to swim. When i asked him what was wrong he never gave me a straight answer. I accidentally caught him coming out of the shower, and he immediatly turned away covering his chest. It seemed like his chest had been getting bigger but i assumed he was just bulking up. it was until i caught him trying on some of his sister's bras that he confessed. Apparently he had been grow breasts. he told me that he was annoyed about and was teased alot at first. But he said that the past couple weeks he decided to embrace it. He showed me his chest and they looked to be at least c cup size(which is bigger than his sister's). He doesnt know what to do but he says that everyone at school laughs at him, and some guys will touch his chest and laugh. He says that he cant stand it anymore and he just wants to be a girl now( which i would be okay with). how has this happened? and what should i do to make him happy?

is he overweight??? if not then i would visit a doctor and see whats going on. if so, then help him lose weight in a healthy, natural way and they will go away

If he's not overweight certainly talk to a doctor. Has he been taking anything to bulk up? That may have effected him. Maybe a change of diet is in his interest. Depending on where you live hormones in foods may be contributing. First thing to do is work out why it is happening. He may feel being a girl would make things easier as he's already being teased but it wont. What you both decide is obviously up to you. But it more than likely wont stop the teasing.
