My 5 year old son goes to the bathroom all the time and never has accidents. He doesn't even wet the bed. ( unless I give him a lot to drink before he sleeps.)
He's halfway through kindergarten and I never got calls that he's had an accident and this is the second time this week that I get a call from his school informing me that he's wet his pants. I noticed while I was changing him in the bathroom at the office, he was too scared to pee and when he did he got really scared of the automatic flush ( it was really loud). I asked if all the bathrooms in the school do that and they said yes, but I don't know why suddenly he's so scared.
It's hard to get him to listen to me when I tell him he can't wet his pants because he had autism. I'm frustrated and don't know what to do. >_
