My son 14 years old has slight girlish behavior since child hood. Now at this stage he has softness in his style of walking, talking and hand gestures . Some of the people pointed that too. He has 2 elder sisters and a younger brother who is very manly .Iam extremely worried and dont know what do.

Are you embarrassed by your child??? Cause that is what I am hearing. He is acting this way, because that is who he is. Let him be himself, and love him for who he is. Why are you so worried? What exactly is the concern?

What are you 'worried' about? Your son is an individual. He's not a clone. He's not going to behave 'exactly' the same as anyone else, because he's his own person.

What to do? About WHAT??? There's nothing wrong here.

Are you implying that you are worried he is gay? Whether he is or not, he is your son. He needs your love and acceptance and to feel secure that your support is unwaivering no matter what. Your fears are valid, to be gay seems to be a more difficult lifestyle. Teens may pick on him or he may feel insecure, but all the more reason why a loving supportive family unit is neccesary! But honestly, could be that he's just not as masculine as other boys, he's not yet grown. Let him be an individual and live him for it!

Just because your son is exhibiting a few female traits does not make him what you are worried about. And I am not implying any particular thing but your worries are unfounded. THere are a lot of guys out there that walk, talk, and use gestures that have a feminine quaility to it. It does not make them weird.

Why? You saying you don't like it, is saying you don't like your sons personality. I am sorry that might offend you, but it is the truth. What do you think is the problem with him acting the way he does?? Please explain.

Why don't you like it, Tahmeena. He's an individual, and showing that.

What is wrong with that, and why does it bother you?
