Why won't my 10 month old eat anything?!

My 10 month old who LOVED to eat suddenly will not take more then 1 or 2 bites of anything I give to him. Purees, finger foods, what I eat, ect.He will eat his bottle ok and drink lots of fluids but does NOT want to eat. This is so frustrating and I've been wasting so much food when he used to eat TONS. Anything he does put in his mouth he will spit out a lot of the time.

Funny tho, he will eat a nice handful of those gerber graduate cereal puffs but that should not be his main source of food.

any suggestions?!

He could be teething or just feeling 'off'. I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Breast milk or formula is supposed to make up the bulk of their diet until a year anyway. Just keep offering him a bit of formerly accepted foods at regular intervals and let him be the judge of when and how much he eats.

Sounds like teething to me as well. Try frozen pops, maybe puree some of the fruit, make icy pops out of them, and let him rub them on his gums. That way, he'll get the comfort he needs and you'll get some healthy options in him. This "phase" won't lasts long and he'll be back to eating TONS really soon. PROMISE!!

Is he teething? My son does that when his mouth hurts. Also could be getting ready for growth spurt too. My son stops eating for a few days to a week and sleeps a Ton. Afterwards, he's back to eating everything in sight. Good luck.

normal. totally normal. just put food in front of him, let him eat what he wants, and when meal time is over, remove the rest. do NOT make it a battle bec you'll lose the battle now and he'll lose the war later in life as an adult with disordered eating habits. you don't eat the exact same amount of the exact same things at the exact same times of day, do you? and you're not even going through a massive growth phase of life! round about at his age, babies do tend to have an appetite taper off bec their growth rate slows - just look at the height-weight chart to see what i mean.
