Why won't my 1yr old eat as much as he used to?

My 1 yr old son used to do a very good job of eating meals (for the most part and aside from wanting to consume his veggies and meats). Lately hes been eating half his pack of oatmeal and a few snacks throughout the day. I still give him plenty of bottles of whole milk and water but im affraid its not enough nutrients for him. For now im going to run out and get him pedialite or whatever can give him his nutrients until hes ready to eat real food. But I need advice for this eating dilema, and im sure hes not trying to watch his figure. I thought maybe it was because hes teething, but most of the food he eats his soft and he doesnt seem to be in pain. What could be going on?

i know that when kids are growing alot they eat alot, perhaps he is done growing for a little while... MAYBE he has cold or allergies, sometimes food just doesn't taste as good when you are all clogged up, so you don't eat as much...
