Will my period stay regular?

I have a 3 month old and I just got my period 2 days ago. He sleeps through the night, always have, so my period has returned early. Will my period go away if I start feeding him more frequently or his consumption increases? I want to have another baby so I want it to stay regular.

Usually your periods do take 6 to 12 weeks after birth and breast feeding can have an effect on your hormones. I would of thought that they will now be regular but for more confirmation speak to your health visitor or doctor.

It can be all over the place, I've heard of people getting their period at 2 or 3 months and than not getting it for another 4. It usually does come back early from not feeding at night (that's why mines back at 2 months pp!) If you want it to stay regular than keep up the schedule you are doing, I don't see why it would change.
