Will your child really be like who you hang around?

If you have a husband or boyfriend around your child will your child grow up to be like them even if they know its not their real dad?

Hold him when he eats. Holding a 2 month old baby will not turn him into a spoiled adult. Not even close.... you have 18 years worth of parenting decisions to make that will or will not spoil him. Making him feel loved and secure and comforted is NOT one that will spoil him.

Go talk to you doctor about the PPD if you haven't already.

I would find a mommy support group in your area. And seriously, it's dangerous propping a bottle. There's a reason why they stopped selling those contraptions that propped up bottles.

Thanks, yeah my mom said the same thing that he knows I won't so he doesn't even try but I don't see how that could be because when he cries I do pick him up and hold him most of the time. Also it's kinda hard because I'm 32 and this is my first child, I didn't think I could get pregnant and then last year on my 32nd birthday I did lol So I'm pretty set in my ways and my daily routines, I also had postpardom, I feel like it's getting better but maybe its not all the way gone yet idk. It makes me feel really guilty not holding him a lot so I have been making an effort to hold him more but I still end up putting him back down in like ten or fifteen minutes after I pick him up

You shouldn't prop the bottle up to feed him. Hold him while you feed him. He may not be wanting to be held all the time when he's around you for two reasons:

1. He knows it won't happen so he doesn't even cry for it

2. He knows you're around so he doesn't feel the need to be held.

Either way you should hold your son as much as possible. There will come a day when you want a cuddle with him and he'll run away to go play...and it will break your heart. Trust me on this. Love the cuddles while you can. They go by so fast.
