With the high level of insecurity all over. Should we still allow our children to go out to play with friend in the neighbourhood

Honestly, a thought of that is so scary. I for one, what I'm planning to do is that my kids will go out to play with friends in the neighborhood on days that I'm off work. Thus I can plan for an hour or two, step out with them, seat around, and watch them play. After which I take them back home. Peace of mind......

Not really sure if you mean INsecurity in the individual, or security, like level of safety.

Keeping your child locked in a bubble will create more insecurities. Of course your children should be able to play with the neighbor kids.
