Wondering if having a tubal after a c-section works

I had my last child 11 years ago, and had a tubal (cut, tie, and burn) right after. I have not really worried about getting pregnant because I was told it was just a 1% chance of that happening. Well this month (I have had heavy really hard periods since having it done) I thought my period was coming on a lot rougher than it normally does. The pain was really bad but was not bleeding yet. Last Thursday I bled one day then after that, nothing. This morning I woke up and my breasts were so sore, they are still hurting. I took a Pregnancy test two days ago just to ease my mind and it was negative. I'm worried that it could possibly be a tubal pregnancy even though the test was negative. I remember that 11 years ago to this day I found out I was pregnant with my youngest son, and now I'm worried that it may be happening again. I guess I'm wondering if it could happen even though I had a tubal right after the birth of my youngest son and if so wondering how long I should wait before I try and re-test. I'm freaking out. My oldest is 16 and like I said my youngest is 11. Any advice on this will be greatly appreciated. I did try and call my GYN but she has been on vacation for the last two weeks. I got in with my PCP on July 9th, but don't even know how to bring up this subject with her.

I don't know why you would not know what to say to your physician, tell her you are worried you might have a tubal pregnancy.

They told you 1% for a reason, because it can happen. Go see your doctor to ease your mind and find out what is going on. You can wait the 2 weeks, and if you think it is urgent, tell the office you are afraid you might have a tubal pregnancy, and that your tubes are tied. They will get you in to see someone urgently due to it being an extremely risky situation.
