Hi hello.. i am new here. Messaging using my phone.. lately i have been really moody, tired, depressed and lost. My son just turned 2 recently and truly blessed to have him. But my deepest issue is i am lost in this real world. Have been in auto pilot ever since he was born. I miss doing things i love.. which i cant remember what i love doing.. not knowing what to do with life that could benefit me and my child for the future. Yes i work from home and it is a contract thing,. But work has been tough, not getting any new coming jobs.. and currently studying for my masters.. i cant find time for myself.. sometimes i break down ans cry.. feeling so stucked and not happy from the inside.. i know mommys out there go through what im going through now.. help and please advice me what and how should i do to get out from this deep hole i am having....

I work from home too. So it seems like there is no adult conversation. I try and have lunch with my friends at least once a month, even if its in each others house because we all have kids. Sometimes we go to a restaurant, but most times we take turns at each others houses. That does help being around other people. I literally am with my 4yr old and 2yr old 24/7 outside of the 4yr old going to school. So I know how you feel. One week, I actually got dressed every single day just to cheer myself up. That last for 5 days and back to sweats I went but I felt good that week. Instead of staying at my desk, I try to get up at 12:30 and go outside for lunch. Just small things may help you feel better. Congrats on almost getting your masters too btw. People always say you need "me time" but with toddlers, its hard. Small steps will make you feel better though.

Thanks Carla, it is true. Having adult conversation and going out for once in a while.. and dressing up! who doesn't love that :) . Happy to know as well many mothers out there experiencing the same situation as I am. As for you, you are one tough mom taking care of two kids.. Even more unbelievable to those who have even more kids to take care of. I have decided to have a good friend to come over and list down to do things to keep my mind straight. It will be a long list but I am sure it is worth while. Getting up day by day, and some support from this community I hope will help me go through these hard times. Thanks again Carla for your kind words and advice.
