Would love some help with this please. I have a 20 year old son who refused to go to school from the age of 14, he dropped out at 14 & 9mnths and the school did not care. He has gone through a lot of change in his life and is virtually house bound now. He is up all night til 5am and sleeps til 4pm. He does not want to work or go to university. He believes he will soon be signed up by his favourite AFL club and all his troubles will be over, mind you, he does not even currently play football. I feel for him but I also feel I'm enabling this behaviour. He has only recently come to live with me as his Father relocated interstate so I am shocked that he is even more withdrawn. He doesn't want anything to do with his family, he has lost all of his friends. He believes nothing is wrong with him and refuses to see a GP let alone a psychologist. I was wondering if he could have 'Aspergers' ??

He's 20 years old... he can get a job, go to school, get to counseling (if you think he has an issue that needs help working through), or.... get out.
Granted, I say that harshly as what 'I' would do as a parent, but.... I lived at home doing nothing til I was 23. I definitely had/have issues too though.
