I think circle of moms allows for talk about anything in moms life! If you think it's just about specifically kid related things you probably haven't seen too many discussions.

I believe the welcome page is open to all discussions?
No I haven't. Except my baby girl :)

For those that think a question like this is inappropriate, I found this in the section at the bottom of my home page, under about circle of moms

“Moms ask questions and get useful recommendations, discuss their latest topic of interest with other moms who share their passions, and find empathy and encouragement in a safe environment.”

So this question would fall under the (Latest topic of interest)

Go check it out for yourself…
And keep in mind you don’t have to answer any question on here that you don’t agree with

But to answer the OP question…would I ever?….well I have :-D

If its "not appropriate," then click on another thread. Do you know how to use your back button or hit "welcome to circle of moms?" so it leads you to the main discussion page (the latest posts). Okay, just checking.

Why would you ask that. Have you kissed a female. I won't want to. But not against i,t don't bother me. My children know the difference, it don't bother them. x

@Xiomara - Folks clicked on the question because all that shows up on the list is "Would you ever." Would you ever what? Feed your child spinach? Place a child for adoption? Show your husband the door? What?

Now if you answered it then you don't think it is inappropriate, unless your answer was "It's inappropriate."

Tonia, it was a general comment after quite a few statements were made. I personally, wasn't refering to any poster in particular.

Just to clarify.

Well thanks for you sincerity Tonia, and just for the record…I THOUGHT the word Prude, but as the saying goes "If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all" So for this I kept it to myself :-)

[deleted account]

I have. Wouldnt now because I am 100% faithful to my husband and I find kissing to be bordering on cheating. But if I were single... yes I definantly would again.

I have kissed many girls many times in the past. It is a different experience for sure...much softer lips and a more compassionate kiss for sure, with less slobber! LOL I'm married now and don't really kiss anyone besides my hubby...although I recently got "attacked" at a party by a very drunk lady! ;)

[deleted account]

Okay. Just to set the record straight... I did not and would not make any derogatory comments about anyone gay, lesbian, transsexual, bisexual or bicurious. I would not. I was just taken aback a little because I thought this was a parenting forum. I accept Monique's explanation of what the site is more about. I get it. No need to call me names, I'm not a prude and I've not said whether or not I've kissed a female. Don't judge me, I won't judge either (I truly don't). But if I was shocked, it was genuine, and I'm not apologizing. I was interested in the discussions about persistent  diaper rash, when to change to whole milk, how to deal with your teenager and how to pick a good sitter. This was not my thread, and I probably should've just let it pass without comment.

Tonia.

I have and would do so again! thanks for having the courage to ask us! Kissing a girl is different than kissing a man, but not necessarily a bad type of different (some may say a better type :) ) I have enjoyed the kisses of both men and women and to be honest, despite the fact that I am married now, would not hesitate to kiss a woman should it be presented in the right way! (ie. not forced upon). I hope this helps you and feel free to pm me if you would like more info! ♥

Thanks Monique! I don't post all that often, so I guess I missed some of the explanations. And I completely agree with whomever said that whatever else is going on in our lives does influence our mothering.

Nothing Lesley, BUT I found this

“Moms ask questions and get useful recommendations, discuss their latest topic of interest with other moms who share their passions, and find empathy and encouragement in a safe environment.”

So this question would fall under the (Latest topic of interest)

Yes, I have. But I wouldn't do it now that I'm with my SO who is a man. I'm commited only to him. ;)

But here to show my support to my fellow lesbian, bisexual and bicurious ladies against the prudes who think we're weird and inappropriate.

We are here!!! :))

Yes, I would (and I have). Now that's not saying I would kiss a woman or a man if I were in a committed relationship with someone else. I don't think this is an inappropriate question at all.. especially if the person who originally posted it is looking for others of like mind to connect with. After all, everything we as moms do affects our kids.

karla's lol who is "we all think johnny is weird"? what is even weird about the OP?

[deleted account]

I think as well as knocking off the prudery (as others have said, if you dont like it, leave the thread) we should also consider the Op might be asking for a reason. There might be something going on for her that she is genuinely looking for guidance and advice on. There are just as many gay ladies on here as hetero ladies and she might be looking for help. Remember not everyone has an easy time of it coming out, due to friends/family/whoever giving them a hard time and I'd hate to feel like this community was doing the same.

Well this is not a question you see everyday on here.. but I'll join in anyway! I have kissed a few girls in the past, but I don't think I would again, doesn't do anything for me I'm afraid! :p

Well, since I'm a lesbian, I would have to say, YES! All the time! As for a man, tho........ugh! That's just plain nasty. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

Holy crap ladies! This forum is for any discussion. I have never witnessed such extreme prudery until I came to this website. Y'all are seriously weird!
