Would you ever pay for a course on how to get out of a rut?

I think things like that can be really fun to go to, and if your feeling like you need to change things up then just going to it would do that. But I also think class or no class, its going to take work on your part to reach inside yourself and figure out what it is that you want in your life. Those classes can really help to get you pumped up, but no one can tell you what you want to do in your everyday life and what you want in your future but you. On a side note, if what you described is what your looking for than I would say a therapist would be WAY better to help with that. They can really get to know you on a personal level and you would be able to get personalize help with what you need. They could also help you after you figure out what you want, during the transition into actually getting it.

You know, the daily rut. Go to work, come home, make dinner, go to bed, next day on repeat with some fun times sprinkled in between, but no sense of real direction or progress. The hamster wheel, so to speak. The goal would be to get tools and strategies to start taking real progress toward your big dream and/or to help you identify what your dream is.
