Is the text that you are using the text that is provided with your homeschooling curriculum? or is it one that you have chosen yourself?

If you are looking for something to make them work more independently, a teacher led text is the opposite of what you want.

I was using Critical Thinking Math but am looking for something more teacher led so they can work more on their own.

If you are homeschooling, you should have an approved curriculum, with appropriate textbooks supplied. Do you not have this, or are you looking for supplemental materials to go with what you've been already issued?

Do you have any books and curriculum? Many parents that choose to home school actually follow a curriculum and HAVE books... or online stuff... to teach their children.

How old is your child? Are you homeschooling? If your child is in school the best thing you can do is follow any recommendations they give as far as homework goes. Most children won't need any extra input than that.

I'm a primary school teacher and in my experience children often end up confused when their parents try to teach them, as they often use different methods than those taught in school.
