Since 2007, as a stay at home mom, who was previously both a public school teacher and a teacher at an international private school in Japan, I have been building an early childhood educational website. My core concepts have always been: no commercials, ads or links and completely realistic to what they would experience in preschool, kindergarten or learning at home with a parent. My idea of providing children with an engaging educational experience without the use of cartoons is to give them the unique experience of bonding with and learning from a human (which will be the case in any educational environment). Each time a competing site has popped up, it is filled with cartoons or a combination of cartoons and humans. I created the concept for my site with my boy's growing brains at the forefront of my mind. I have definitely kept to my core values for this business and I truly believe in the format. At this late hour, I am wondering what other parents feel about cartoons being the automatic "go-to" for entertaining and educating our little ones. Thank you all so much. Looking forward to hearing back. I totally appreciate it!!!
