If you want to take scrapbooks and blogs one step further, check out The Momoir Project (www.themomoirproject.com). They offer writing classes for moms who want to record their memories -whether for themselves, their kids to read in the future or to improve their blogs or get their stories published.

I have a year diary with like a section for each day and I write things like "Logan took 2 steps today YAY" or "Logan started eating with a spoon and made a huge mess". I sadly also keep all the little cards from the hospital from immunisation apps and antenatal apps from when I was pregnant with him in my diary from the year before last year and also a baby book with cute photos and milestones.

I also have baby books for each of my girls. It has their milestones, first vacation, first haircut, birth and a place to put pictures and the bands from birth. It also has places to put locks of hair and their first tooth(lost) and other things.

I have a journal. I also have a yearly calendar I note things on as well. This is going on the 3rd year with the calendar and I pulled out the first one I did for the entire 1st year of our son's life and it was so neat to reflect upon. It was a great idea given to me from my grandma :)
