Will you please share your stories about having the wrong gender predicted for your child? I have been told girl but deep down I am pretty sure we are having a boy. I can't bring myself to buy pink clothes. I will be happy either way but I want to know if this has happened to others.

It happens so often, that here, where I live, they will not tell you the sex. Unless you are a high risk pregnancy.

Lauren- no ultrasound is 100% certain. There is always human error. I truly believe you should follow your gut instinct. Because you are having twins, I would think you will have more ultrasounds in the future, so you could always double-check. But I know one of the biggest causes of a girl "turning into" a boy at birth is the tech mistakenly assuming it is a girl simply because they do not see a boy part. Good luck and keep me updated!

I'm pregnant with twins and I have two daughters already! And I am second guessing the tech I went to. He was really unprofessional. Baby b is a girl but baby a he said o there's nothing hanging down so it's a girl. What do u think!

I've heard it's more common for a tech to predict a girl when it's really a boy, rather than the other way around. They say sometimes the boy parts hide or the testes haven't descended at the time of the ultrasound. Our baby was super active during our ultrasound so that is another reason I suspect the baby could be a boy.

They told me my son was a girl...the picture was from behind and his scrotum was squished between his legs and looked like labia. it's funny though because I never fully believed them either. When people used to ask, I would say "the doctors SAY it's a girl".
