Well, that definitely makes sense why you'd like it spelled that way. That's a cute idea. :)

And thanks. :)

I love the name Flynn. For a girl, I like Chloe. My husbands name is Adam but he goes by his middle Heath...it completely throws me off when people call him Adam! My daughters name is Isabella but we call her Bella...her choice :)

Haha, Lorelai is the traditional spelling, I just like Laurelai cuz it's similar to my name Laura :)
Justice is an awesome name btw.

I like Flynn for a boy and Chloe for a girl...

I would go for something that can't be shortened. I think that's silly, too, just as everyone else has mentioned. I named my son Justice and you certainly can't shorten that, though many of my family members call him Baby J or Jet because it can't be shortened (Jet would actually reference his initials). But, it irritates me. We did NOT name him J or Jet. We named him Justice. That's what he needs to be called...

I also am a fan of Laurelai, but I'd prefer Loralei, just because I think a girl's name needs an o for some reason. :)

Greek I think, he was the spartan king who won some huge battle. Google it, it's a great story. There's a movie called 300 about it, hubby loves it. Bit too gory for me :/

hehe I just can't help thinking if you wanted to call your child X why did you name them Y?! I have a cousin called Kerryn, her family call her Sally. WTF?!?! A little different from abbreviations I know but still...
Makes me consider 3 letter name in the first place as I like Kathryn but know It would get shortened so why not just get it over with and call her Kate to begin with?
I like Leo on it's own or Leonardo but i've not heard Leonidas before. What's it's origin?

Haha I have the same pet peeve, my hubby matt NEVER goes by Matthew. I say just change it to matt! Lol I'd likely call her Esmeralda a good deal, but others would be free to shorten it if wanted. Like my new baby Fierna, we call her Fia for short, but still use Fierna predominantly. :)
Leonidas on the other hand I'd call Leo almost always, but hubby dislikes Leo on it's own but is ok with Leonidas as a full....

I like Oliver, Laurelai and Esemeralda. I do like Esme on it's own not as in Call her Esemeralda but then call her Emse her whole life anyway, if you're going to do that then call her Esme in the first place :)

Sorry Pet Peeve rant coming out there LOL

I like Quinn Anica and Talia
Talia was a name I've always considered for a girl but alas...3 boys :)

Why do you want to know? :)

Are you thinking of these names for your child, or are these names your second cousin or least-liked sister-in-law is thinking of naming their baby?

I need to know how to "calibrate" my "honesty."

Hello, When I think of baby names I also think of what they may sound like when they are all grown and 50 yrs old. I like Oliver and Flynn they sound cute when little but nice on an adult. I like Anica and Talia too. They are different from the norm and not too weird and nice names for their whole lives.
