We live in wine country and it is part of our culture to have 1-2 glasses of wine in the evenings. How long does it take for alcohol to leave the breast milk? Thankyou.

Also, if you need something to help increase your milk supply, try a Guiness beer. Works like a freaking MIRACLE! I don't really like dark beers, so if you drink it wicked cold, in a really cold mug, it isn't so bad. Any time my supply dwindled, i would have one that night after I knew I would not feed for a while, and my milk the next day would be greatly increased. Just an extra tip for you!

It takes 1 hour per drink to leave your breast milk. You should be fine to have an occasional drink if you time it right.
