I used the cold washcloth for my son. The teething ring was no use for him until he was closer to 5 months... We also used camilia (natural product) for teething pain and found it works wonders for him and quick too (within 15 minutes). However, it doesn't work for all babies.

My little girl had 2 teeth at 2 months and continued until she had 16 teeth by 14 months. Now we are dealing with 2 year molars at 18 months. Not fun. Ask your doctor about the dosage for tylenol or motrin to help with the pain and also, try putting a teether in the fridge or a wet wash cloth also in the fridge. With some babies, it actually hurts more to have frozen things while teething. Think of putting ice on an injury and how sometimes it makes it throb more. Brushing his gums with a soft bristled baby toothbrush can help. If he starts pulling at his ears, has loose stools, diaper rash, a rash on his face or has a low grade fever (100.5 and under) that can all be attributed to teething. If her fever is higher than 100.5, it is probably from illness and not teething. I would definately check with the doc about what they recommend for relief as well.

Let her chew on a cold washcloth it will help any teeth break through that need to break through and at the same time is soothing.

My Daughter is only 4 weeks old and teething... we thought it was rubbish, until the doctor and health visitor had a look. apparently its her own teeth so they dont need to pull them out. my daughter uses me as a dummy because she seems to not settle.

It is normal. My nephew was born with 2 teeth. The best thing that helped with mine was baby orajel and a teething ring that I found at Wal-Mart that vibrated when he bit down on it. He loved it and would sit there for hours mumbling and chewing on it.

It's normal. Try taking baby wash clothes, wetting them and putting them in the freezer. You can use them to rub her gums, or let her chew on. Some babies like this. Just make sure it's the baby washcloths because regular ones have a lot of fuzz. She may also have fevers and a sour stomach with this. Normally a little bit of tylenol will help.

Orajel, teething rings and lots and lots of TLC......that's what works for us.  10 weeks is early, but it happens and is normal.   The baby I watch is 5 mos. and she is still teething, I got her at 3 mos.    They also make a teething tablet, try the drugstore for those.  They just desolve in their mouth and just rub her gums.
