11 month old won't drink water

My 11 month old won't drink water he just has tiny sips then pushes it away. He is on 2 200ml bottles of milk one morning one night, and eats quite well and a good variety, I'm not worried about nutrition just fluid intake. We have just stopped breastfeeding as I am 31/2 months pregnant and also he's become a bit of a biter. I really didn't want to add juice to his water it feels like a bit of a cop out. and as a rule in our house juice is for special occasions. So any suggestions?

Thank you for your comment Belinda, I do offer it to him in a regular cup, after having tried various sippy cups with all sorts of spouts, the only thing I haven't really tried is a straw which I might give a go. I guess I will just have to persevere and yes I will offer him milk in a cup with meals to make sure he's getting enough fluids, that also might help with drinking water out of a cup although I have offered water in a bottle, he wasn't terribly impressed lol.

Just keep offering him the water, he should start drinking it as he gets over the weaning. Have you tried offering it to him in a regular cup? That is the way I got my daughter to drink water, gave her a cup and taught her to blow bubbles in it so she associated it with fun. She would only drink a little at a time, but slowly she started to drink more, She gets milk at each meal in a cup. She is now 2.5 years old. Thankfully she does not blow bubbles anymore :) I just gradually let that fade out when she took sips.
