13 year old upset about school?

My 13 year old daughter was very depressed about school in the 7th grade. It is summer at the moment, but she is dreading about going back to school in the fall. She just got her schedule for next year and hates it, as none of her friends are in any of her classes. She is not a very popular girl, but she does have some nice friends. I talked to her about maybe switching schools, but she refuses as all her friends are in this one. I'm worried about her, she's already stressing out and school hasn't even started yet! What should I do?

Take her in to talk to the counselors now. Get a system and a routine worked out for her ahead of time.

Find out WHAT bothered her about school last year. Was it bullies, was it that she felt left out, was it that she didn't feel she understood things...You need to find out what the initial problem is to be able to address moving forward
