Quoting Kerri:

15 days and no name,.. I'm looking for suggestions for a boys name,.?

i ALSO TOOK A LITTLE WHILE TO NAME MY FIRST BORN... but a very long time ago.

TOSSING UP BETWEEN, KIERAN, KEEHAN, AND KEANAN..... ENDED UP WITH KIERAN.

go well..... I found repeating the name in lots of context's really helped... ie, in a loving manner.. telling them off, or imagining running through the mall after them whilst shopping. LOL

give it a go.

My son's name is Carver, I like it a lot and it's not something I've heard before. We had a huge list of names for our son, but I honestly can't remember what was on it. We had a tough time naming our daughter. We didn't have one picked out when I went in to have her, but we brought our list to the hospital. Most of my labor was spent trying to chose a name, but we still couldn't decide on one! The day after she was born, we decided we didn't really like any of the names on the list so we threw it out and picked something totally different. Avelyn. We love it. Don't worry, if you can't decide now, you'll know after you meet him!

If you have not named him yet, what are you looking for? Something different? You can always pick a common name and change the letters to make it original. My husband's name is Rion (Ryan) and my son is Marckus. I thought those were some neat names and spellings...

we struggled also for a boys name and didnt decide until 2 weeks bofore he was born but because we couldnt settle on a name we adapted my partners name so he was after his dad without giving him the same name as his dad.For example his dads middle name is william so we decided to call our son liam - wil-LIAM. Could that be a possibility?

I will have to agree, and it is ultimatley your choice. Before my daughter was born, the only thing that my husband and I could decide on was that we wanted our child to have a gender specific name. As much as I liked Taylor, I know too many boys and girls with that name. But you may have the same problem that we had. Before I went in for the C-Section, if we had a girl, it was going to be called Emily. We took one look at her and called her Emma, as she looked more like an Emma instead of an Emily. We also wanted something simple, so that it would be easy for her (and everybody) else to spell. Good luck in whatever you choose.

Depends how popular of a name you want. I have seen a bunch of Aiden, Caleb, Logan, Jackson, Gavin (spellings may be different). The names that are popular when we were kids are not as popular now.

Hi Kerri. I think when you look into his little eyes you will know what his name is. My first son was named after his daddy. David Thomas Jr. we argued for about 10 minutes on our second son and came up with Alexander Joseph...And they are both names that just fit him. I am sure there are names that you are favoring towards and when you see him you will know. That is what I thought with both of mine. He looks like a David and he looks like an Alexander. Good luck...Follow your heart and you will know. Its ok if you dont have a name before he is born. Good Luck and I cant wait to hear what you do name him!!! God Bless Mandie
