I am 22. I lost one of my ovaries when I was 17 and surprising I got pregnant now. from what Ive been told before it just depends on ur system. My aunt had 2 pregnancies with only one ovary and she never lost the ovary until later in life when she decided to stop the baby factory. i dont think you should worry much. Cyst come out of nowhere but if you follow the right treatment after having the removal your other one should be healthy. I had to get sonograms every 6 months the first 2 years and every years thereafter for 5 years.

hi, you should be fine, when i had my 2nd daughter, i had a cyst on one of my ovarys and had to get it removed i was only 21, so i have 1 and a half ;). i just had my 3rd child 12 weeks ago and everything went fine. if your worried speak to your doctor about it. thats one thing that didn't cross my mind when i was planning to have another child. don't worry about it to much, or your'll stress yourself out.

I can let you know that I have one ovary due to an etopic pregancy, which is when the baby impants in the felopian tube instead of the womb. In the process, I lost 1 overy and felotian tube, and the baby as well. I also have polycyslic ovarian syndrom, but without any cysts on my ovaries. After talking to my doctor, she says it is safe to have other children with 1 ovary just as long as your body is giving you normal menstal cycles. I would ask your OB about that as see what she says and she might have more insight on the subject. Most women don't have large problems with cysts until the age of 30, but you might have something different. I hope this helps.
