My daughter is 3 months old and within the past 3 days she's gone from having one bowel movement everyday or every other day to having 5 or more smaller ones throughout the day. She is primarily a breastfed baby although she gets 1 or 2 bottled of formula a day, which is how it's been since the day she was born. There has been no change in her personality and is not acting fussy at all! My question is should I call her pediatrician or just keep an eye on her? Like I said she's acting fine and still has her appetite. There hasn't been a change in my diet either!

This is nothing to worry about unless your daughter is in severe pain when passing her stools. Try giving her some water or a small amount of apple juice with boiled water this should loosen any bowel movements and help her to pass more poop in one go rather than lots of small poops.

my daughter is 6 months now and i stopped breastfeeding at 3 months with 2 bottle formula through the day also, her bowl movements varied from day to day from 6-7 stools a day to 1 a day she was also normal in herself, she then at 4 motnhs becmae a little constipated for over a week, i changed her formula milk and she is now perfect with her stools (something to watch for) because ur daughter is fine in herself and its only her stools that are varrying different days i would say there is nothing to worry about, though if you think she is constipated or her stools change colour and she becomes fussy then i would call someone. hope this helps :)
