Breastfeeding is a beautiful thing in reason when you are doing it more for you and not the child then it becomes a issue! "well somebody posted who business is it ?well at four were supposed to be creating self sufficent independent kids. I ask why are you still breastfeeding at this point is it about the child this is preschool age . I am a mother of three children my baby is 17 months completely still limited breatsfeeding trying to wean i think its a beautiful thing but four years old im sorry each is there own but I do not agree your not helping this child, but keeping him, attatched to you why is he or she still interested what are you going to do at preschool or around his friends you dont want him to be teased! teaching him to to rely on you emotionally without the breast is still very possible, four they should be running around doing art project drinking out of cups not cuddling up to your breast! this is just going to be hard to break so i say to you you have to make your own choices ,. we have to expect if we put are choices out there then sometimes we are going to get opinions weather you want to listen or not is your choice . but maybe have another then you can have another babyto hold on to . goodluck i hope you find your anwsers or solutions.
