My twin girls are starting to fight bottle feedings. They have been only bottle feed. They will normally take it the first time offered but when I stop to burp them after only two oz or so they will gag, throw up, scream, and fight the bottle. We just started having this problem about two weeks ago. I've read some advice but most is to breast feed babies. The girls were born at 28 weeks so really they are about two and a half months. Im currently trying to change the temp of the feeding and see if that might help. No luck yet.

It could be that they are have acid backing up on them.. Sounds like what both of my kids did and they were both put and an Ratidine for acid refulx.. i would talk with your doctor and see if there is maybe some thing a little more going on.. Our son was born 37 week and was on med for a year for it.. My daughter was born with gastroschisis and has been on it for 8 months now and is doing alot better with eating and not getting sick or refusing to eat anymore... Hope this is helpful.. Best wishes and take care...

You should probably ask your doctor... it could be that they aren't taking well to the brand of formula anymore.

Try switching the brand of bottles or bottle nips! My son is almost 5 months and we have gone thru so many bottle brands and bottle nips! He will only take Dr. Brown's Natural Flow by Hanicraft and level 1nips
