My son's 7 and a half months and isn't crawling yet, he kinda wiggles and rolls his way around! lol. I wouldn't worry too much, he's probably just focusing on other aspects of development. :)

My first started crawling at 2 months, but he has hypertonia and many other health issues that caused early physical development and late mental development. Our others started crawling closer to 7-9 months range.

he has been trying to crawl for about two months now. and he lunges forward to get to things or rolls til he gets to it. and last night he pulled himself up in the crib. so we are starting to think he is going to skip crawling and just start walking. and he doesnt get on the floor much because we have a huge dog and a cat who is very curious.

My son is 6.5 months, he does the whole "army crawl" thing, I'm not worried, if he wants something he'll get to it in his own way, and every child develops in their own time :)

I have 4 girls and a boy and the girls were faster with all the milestones than the boy, but do not worry they do get there in the end. Just enjoy the stage that they are at. They do grow up very fast.

While it is not common, babies can crawl early. Of my two boys, one crawled about 7 months and one didn't crawl till after he walked at 8 months old. Both were really early, but I think they were trying to catch up to the older kids. You will know when your baby is ready when he gets on all fours and starts rocking. Then he will either lurch forward while trying to reach something and smash his face, or most common, goes backwards first. Just remember it's not a race, your child against another. They all learn at different rates and a lot depends on how much baby is held and how much baby is let to streach and excercise on the floor. When he does crawl, you will wish he didn't. Good luck!

hi my little boy didnt crawl till 8 and half months. he started showing signs at 6 months but took him a while to figure out how to do it lol but now he crawls everywhere and gets into everything lol, good job we baby proofed our house tho when he was 6 months just in case, hes now trying to pull himself up so soon il have to get stair gates lol. best wishes :)
