HI
Just had a question about my 6 month old's feeding habits. He has been taking the bottle with pumped milk since I went back to work and about a month ago, he took a bottle for all his feeds. SOme days ago, we introduced him to rice cereal and he liked it but he does not seem to like the bottle anymore. It is a really big effort to feed him. Any ideas?

That's ok. My son was the same way, and my pediatrician suggested a long time ago that your baby will let you know when he's ready for soft foods, and no longer want the bottle. Try giving him the milk in a sippy cup he can walk around with ( my son loved the idea that he can hold the handle of a sippy cup and made him feel like a big boy), but continue feeding him the rice cereal. It actually fills him longer. Try also introducing him to other soft foods like carrots to provide him nutrients. Hope this helps!

Hmmm... Can you try using a straw cup, a syringe, a tube attached to the finger, or a soft cup to feed him instead of the bottle since he's decided he doesn't care for it?
