I am 19 years old and my son will be 9 months old on the 3rd and my husband and I just found out we are pregnant again, I'm very shocked right now. I had an appointment in a couple weeks to go get on the pill since i weaned my son not too long ago, we were not using protection so i know we should have expected something, we have always wanted another one but not so soon because financially it's going to be really hard i was planning on going through at 10 month program to become an MST but i talked to the man in charge of the Program where i was going to go and he said it wouldn't be a good idea to go because since it's kinda of a crash course in learning i will not be able to miss many days. I am excited a little bit but mostly just scared to death! It's hard enough taking care of one right now, and to add another one! I can't even fathom it! So if anyone has had a similar situation or has any advice please help me!

I completely agree with Tisha. My husband and I have been thinking about trying for our second child. I am 27 and my son will be 8 months old on the 11th.Everyone says that its too soon but I want my kids to be close in age. I know it will be harder financially, it will definitely keep me busy. But I am already at home with one. They will be able to play together and hopefully be good friends. I say look at it as a blessing not a burden. Yeah it will be tough but think about the first time you held your son, and all of the good things. The good will out weigh the bad.

So look at it this way. You're gonna get having your babies out of the way early. I had my kids young, not that close together though. Your son will be around 18 months old when the new baby comes. He will be walking by then, he should be weaned off the bottle by then, he should be feeding himself solid foods by then, and he'll be close to potty-training age. Yeah, they'll be really close together but you won't have 2 infants at the same time. He'll be able to do quite a bit more for himself than he can now. It won't be so bad! And by the time the little one is 2 they will be caught up to each other in size and physical developmetn so they will be able to really play together!!!! I know it's scary but i think you are very lucky and blessed!!!!! Just remember , there are women out there that can't even have one baby so be thankful!!!!!
