I am also 5 weeks pregnant and am not feeling many symptoms, although knew I was pregnant because my uterus started to swell already before I even took the test. I adore pregnancy - have 2 kids, boy (3-1/2) & girl (7) - but am anxious because I've also had 4 miscarriages. I experienced 24-hour a day nausea for the first 3-4 months with both of my children, but very little with my other early pregnancies. However, I feel hopeful after reading the other posts.

I hope you don't get the morning sickness at all and that you have a wonderful and healthy pregnancy and a safe delivery and a beautiful healthy baby! Good Luck and many blessings :)

I've had 2 children & in the beginning had very few symptoms with both pregnancies. I remember having sore breasts & frequent urination is normal when you're pregnant. Tiredness too! Call you doctor & speak w/him or her or their nurse if you're concerned.

First off, congrats! I had 2 boys and a girl, the boys were a breeze no issues, no symptoms, then the girl pregnancy...OMGosh! If I read about it, I had it, I finally had to quit ready the pregnancy books! lol I agree that every pregnancy is different and be thankful those are your only symptoms!

I didn't know I was pregnant until 8 weeks and when I took a test I was taking it "just to be sure" not expecting it to be positive! I had recently bought some new bras which didn't fit anymore but assumed they got shrunk in the dryer. I had been feeling ill on and off. I was late to work one day and explained that I wasn't feeling well and someone I worked with noticed I had been feeling sick for a couple of weeks. That was it, these were the only clues.

every pregnancy is different, lack of symptoms doesnt necessarily mean a problem
be grateful

Hi my name is Tina. I never had any symptoms like morning sickness or anything either. I loved being pregnant. I am a mother of two and a grandmother of one. It has been such a blessing.

I had no symptoms what so ever with my third pregnancy. It was great not to be throwing up or having weird cravings.

LOL! Lucky you! My daughter was the same way when she was pregnant. Nothing to worry about. All pregnancies are different. My First one, I had morning sickness every day like clockwork the whole 9 months. My second, it varied.........I may be sick one day and then nothing for a week or so. Only worry if you start spotting or cramping.

I LOVED BEING PREGNANT! No period and it felt like any other day! No symptoms for me but on my second pregnancy I had severe trouble with my back at about 6 mos. could walk in the middle of the night without holding onto stuff or i would go down. I also pulled a muscle in my back and my rectus abdominis (not as dirty as it sounds!) It's a stomach muscle. But other than that mine were awesome. my son is nine mos now and thanks to breast feeding i have still yet to have my "monthly monster" as i call it. Hope your goes well too!

I never get any symptoms...5 pregnancies, last with twins. No breast tenderness, no morning sickness, no dizziness, nothing but fatigue the 1st trimester, but more so when I had more kids to care for also. My husband always knows why I am pregnant though. He says my symptom is getting the urge to listen to country music and thinking every song is sooo sweet. He sees that and asks when I am due, and he's been right every time. That's it, but no physical symptoms at all until the end when I get uncomfortable.

I agree every pregnancy is different, I have 5 kids ages 10 years old down to 10 weeks old, I hardly had any symptoms at all with my last baby, my maternal instincts knew but none the less I felt fine

I didn't have any morning sickness at all, am now 33.5 weeks along and still haven't had many symptoms but heartburn and extremely tired & hungry during the first trimester. I didn't put on much weight and am not really showing although the scans all show the bub is right size for age. I'm hoping any future pregnancies I have are as easy as this, however I know how frustrating it is when you're looking for signs. Don't worry, there's no medical evidence to show that less symptoms = something wrong with the baby.
Good luck & congratulations!

I had no signs with my preganice. I mean none what so ever after many years of trying to carry ( this was my 9th time) I did not even stop cycling they were lighter. I had lost 45 lbs and found out that what my doctor told me was a bladder infection was signs of being prego....lol I throw a faulse neg. I was 24 weeks a long when I finally had a possitive reading. My little miricale is now 15 months old and his name is Lucas. So I think boys may be easier to carry IMHO.

Yes I didn't have any symptoms with my first child. Every pregnancy is different. With my 2nd I experienced pain due to other medical conditions and really bad morning sickness until the day that she was born.

Congrats!! Every pregnancy is different. Im pregnant with my 3rd (3 weeks left) & must say that I went through it with very little symptoms until the last couple of months.. Like you I was only tired & hungry. Since you are still early you may still end up getting the morning sickness, but you may end up one of the lucky ones lets hope :-) Good luck & Congrats again.

5 wks is still real early in the pregnancy! During both of my pregnancies I didn't have morning sickness or nothing...just tired during the first trimester. It got a little better during the 2nd but boy by the 3rd you are just plain tired and sick of being pregnant...that last month is awful when you're running around after a toddler!!! Be real thankful for the easy time you get during your pregnancy now because here in 6-8 mos you'll be going nuts! :) Good luck & congratulations!!!

Every pregnancy is different. You may find this one to be a breeze. But, you're also only 5 weeks along. Things can change a lot in just a few days.
