I had my beautiful baby girl 6 months ago, and i was just wondering how long the numbness last for?? and some time pain, that comes along with it? My SIL has two kids and she say that her belly is still a little numb, and that was almost a year and a half ago when she had her baby boy. so just wondering how long i have to put up with this annoying feeling lol :) thanks

My son is 4 yrs old and I'm still numb. No pain or itchiness or tingling. Just numbness. Hope it goes away some day.

I had my third section 11+ yrs ago. I have a patch about 5x7 below my navel that is still numb (from the first one almost 16 yrs ago). I actually got a small 2nd degree burn there once while cooking. Obviously some nerve got cut... but hey, my kids thought it was amusing and it has come in handy since i was diagnosed with diabetes -- that's where I do all my shots!

I have heard some says the numbness never goes away. When I had my first it was still numb when I had my second 4 years later. Now it is numb again after a year. The pain I am not sure about. I might ask your Dr. Because having pain 6 months after doesn't seem right to me.

It depends on the person my doctor told me. I am still numb in some places after 4 months. He said some people never get full feeling back.

My doctor told me that it could take 6-12 months to get full sensation back, if at all. I had my son 10 months ago and I still have some numbness. I'm sure after my next one, I can kiss any feeling left good bye.

After I had my son via c-section 5 years ago up to when I had my daughter a year ago it always felt numb in that area. I'm sure its different for everyone, but for me it has yet to stop! I've just gotten used to it

I had c/s #1 7 yrs ago, #2 5 yrs ago and #3 6 weeks ago. The numbness remained for both of the first 2, but after this 3rd one, I have no numbness and sensitivity. I think it just depends on scar tissue and your doctor's way of closing the incision.

The numbness, I thought, would never go away! I had my son almost 5yrs. ago and up until I had my little girl in June of this yr. I was numb on my left side. Since I have had my girl, I have not experienced that much numbness. I had a better experence this time than I did last time.

that is all pretty normal, it does go after a couple ov years. with ur nerves and muscles been cut into it takes time for ur body to adjust to the effects ov having this king ov surgery! i had 4 cs all togetha and im still numb in the scar area but my last cs pins and needles affect dissapered this year which is three years after my last cs. xx

I had my c-section almost 10 months ago, and I the band right around my scar is still numb, and occassionally I have little itches or small shooting pains.

I had my c/s a year ago and my numbness pretty much went away in the past few months. I still have this weird pins and needles mild pain feeling when I touch the area though.
