My daughter is 5 now and has lost both front bottom teeth. Im just wondering how long does it usually take for the adult teeth to grow through?

Thank-you all for your responses its been nearly 7 months since she lost her teeth so we are hoping for a sign soon. Its reassuring to know it can take a bit longer than i was expecting. I have asked dentists before but they never give me a proper answer. Thanks again.

My daughter lost her two front teeth a year ago and they've been peeking through for a while now but not progressing. Her dentist isn't concerned. Neither is my daughter. She likes her dentist and trusts him totally.

It really depends on each child. I lost my baby teeth at 3 years old, and they didn't start growing back 'til I was 8 years old. I think I was one of those few kids who had dentures in elementary school. LOL

I know it varies from child to child on how long it could take for adult teeth to come in. I'm sure as soon as your totally used to having them gone, they'll start to come through...lol! Patience as always. I'm surprised that Moms aren't called "Patience" instead!!
