I have 6month old twins and im at home with them all the time. My husband works but am i being stupid to ask him to look after the kids for an hour after he finishes work so i can get a bit of 'me' time?

i dont think you are, but i think its something that you and your husband need to discuss....like if he needs time to unwind...something reasonable.....then he can take over for a bit.....i just think that you should acknowledge that he works all day and needs a break like you do....and you never know he may like the idea of getting to just play with them or get them ready for bed but i know from experience that sometimes our husbands over look what we do and think its all fun and games

Not stupid at all!! Us single birth moms need breaks also! I can't imagine what its like having two babies at the same time!! My mom trys to tell me being that I am a twin myself but its just not the same as experiencing it! You don't need one hour I think you need two hours for two babies!!
