My son will be 1 this weekend and lately i have been thinking about having another baby! Im not sure if its too soon? I also had a really traumatic birth and that keeps throwing me off. Ive been told the second time around is easier. Very confused!!!

Give yourself another year. If you are that worried about having a traumatic birth, I suggest drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea during your next pregnancy, (from the time your pregnant to the time your in labor) and stay relaxed. Drinking this tea while pregnant is good because it helps your body get ready for the delivery of the baby and is relaxing and a relaxed mindset is helpful. Sip the tea while you are in labor also. Each of my babies came earlier. Every pregnancy is different. Try the tea it can't hurt.

My oldest are 14 months apart, not on purpose. It is alot easier the 2nd and 3rd time. Go for it. Its totally worth it. good luck

When my oldest was about one was when I started thinking about it too. The thing to really know about each pregnancy/delivery is they are all different. For me, my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies were the hardest and my 1st and 4th the easiest. If hubby is on board then maybe it's time to start trying.

hya im 4 month pregant and also have a 11 month old i think it will be good for him to have someone to play with. i had a very hard time aswell (3 day labour and blood tranfusion after to cut a long story short lol) i am very scared but i think it dont matter how long you wait you will alwys be scared just think how good you felt knowing you had something good from something bad they are worth it :)

Since your so is 1 yr old and you had a traumatic birth, maybe you should consult your OB to see if your body can handle another pregnancy just yet. Only you would know what too soon is. It's a personal preference, and if you feel you and the baby daddy are totally ready for another one (and you get the green light from the Doc) go for it!

Hi Caira i got pregnant with my 2nd when my 1st son was 15 months old they get on so well that i decided to have another now my 2nd son is 1 im hoping they will be close too. My 2nd labour was more painful than the 1st but i was only in labour for 5 hours the 1st time and 23 hours the 2nd time... I was told that usually 2nd labours are quicker so could be less painful........Please dont let your traumatic 1st experience put you off you might have a wounderful 2nd birth my sister had a traumatic 1st time and she loved her 2nd time she made a birth plan stating what she wanted to happen which i think helped her alot.....good luck with whatever you decide
