Another legal kidnapping....

I met my ex-partner as he was a member the band of friends that my ex-husband used to hang around with. He saved my life more than once when my ex-hubby used to hit me and later when we got together he took on my twin-daughters as his own in all but name. However his family, in particular his parents have always hated me and never wanted us to get together. I always hoped that once they got to know me...but they never wanted to know me, despite my efforts to please them. Just over 3 years ago my ex-bf's dream came true, I gave birth to his son. Just 3 years and 2 (exactly) days after that he came home from Easter lunch with his parents and announced that he was leaving me. For 3 and 1/2 months after he couldn't make up his mind whether or not to leave but all of a sudden, 1 month ago, he took our son round to his parents' house (whilst I was in the shower) and want off to rent a truck and the next day he moved out. For a whole week after that I didn't stop calling his mobile which was always switched off and his parents' land-line but no-one picked up. I had never been separated from any of my kids for such a long time. I called the police but they couldn't do anything as my son was in no physical danger and there had been no judgement. After 1 week I plucked up the courage to go round to my ex-in-laws and saw my son for 20 mins. For the next 2 weeks I had a few phonecalls and a visit of 2hrs. My ex was being really nice to me saying that the separation was temporary and he still had "feelings" for me. He even agreed to give me my son back for 2 weeks before school started, especially my parents were coming over from the UK the following weekend (we live in France). He even suggested we all go out as a family first and he'd drop me back after with the 3 kids. Great! At last! So we got in the car and where half way there when he handed me 4 printed sheets and told me to sign them. I said I would once I'd read them and got a 2nd opinion so he turned the car round and drove us to his parents house, grabbed our son out of the car and told me and my daughters to get out! I was then insulted by him and his parents before he finally drove me and my girls back to ours! Since that day, 8 days ago I have had no news from them. They don't answer the phone or reply to my voice msgs, texts and e-mails. I have contacted a lawyer who told me that even in this case of emergency I wouldn't be able to have a hearing with a family judge before the 5th of dec! So I was to call a social worker to go round and see my son and then get hold of a chlidren's judge. Called my social worker and she won't do that!

And my poor girlies miss their little brother, he is their pride and joy! And when my parents came I left a message saying we'd go round there on sunday, no reply of course but we went round there anyway and there was nobody home.

All I can do for now is wait to talk to my lawyer tomorrow...
