There is this website called birthday in a box, just google it and the link will come up. My girlfriend told me about this which she did for her son's first birthday. They have all sorts of neat themes and it comes with ALL the supplies that you can think of for a real good price.

Why you don't go with simple themes such as jungle safari, barnyard bash, or a curious George? These are good themes for celebrating the first birthdays. Finding all the party supplies will not be difficult. MyBirthdaySupplies is one of the good online stores where you can find all the party supplies at an affordable price.

For my daighter's first birthday we had it @ SwimLikeAFish, it's a place for babes, toddlers and mommies to go swimming in a pool that is heated up to like 90 degrees...anyways we did a Nemo theme. She and the other kids LOVED it!!!

Snap Shots of The Birthday Child!

For my son’s 1st b-day I took snapshots of him from that year, coming home from the Hospital, him and Daddy, bath time, him with Grandparents (all of them - don’t leave anyone out ), first time crawling, walking, mad, sad, sleeping…you get the idea. Kinko’s can color copy the pictures to 8x10 and Laminate them for a few dollars each. Post them around the party room or use them as place mats (laminated pictures only). When the party is over you have a great addition to his photo album or baby book.

Good luck - Ann

We had a rubber duck theme for our son's first birthday.  It was so cute.  It is a great theme for either a boy or a girl and really easy to find decorations for.  Find good ideas on birthdaypartyideas.com

Hi, for my daughters second birthday we had the mobile baby animal farm / pony rides come out to our house it was fantastic. I did all of the food, decorations and the cake in animal theme as well, the kids had a great time it made it easy because we didn't have to have party games and everybody was entertained by the animals until lunch time. Good luck :)

I did Elmo...I made an Elmo cake & cupcakes. I bought all Elmo plates, balloons, & decorations. It's not real original but, my son loves Elmo. I would say the best theme would be whatever he is most interested in. There is a store on line that sells all kinds of party supplies...the name escapes me but, they have great deals. Good Luck
