I thought maybe I'd try, seeing getting help with a boys name went so well! Anyone have any great girl names? I'm looking for something unique but not too out there that people can't pronounce or ask, What were they thinking!"

Did anyone say Keira yet? That's getting more popular right now, but I love that name. There's also Bella (or Belle makes a cute middle name), or Savannah. I also like names that sound a little more old fashioned like Lorilee, Addalane and Annabelle.

Well, when we started our family, it began with a girl. We named her Abigail Alexis. then we had a boy and named him Evan Scott. Now since we were on this A-E-I-O-U, type thing we continued with Ian Matthew and we are expecting Ophelia Lenore. We escpecially like the fact that we can name her after two characters from favorite authors...Shakespear's Hamlet---Ophelia and Edgar Allen Poe's---Lenore. Our oldest is already calling her Lelee. We will shorten it to Lia for family and friends. Hope this helps. By the way...my husband wants 10!! Our next name for a girl is Mena Roselyn...after Bram Stroker's dracula and the conspiracy involving the Roselyn Chapel in England...DaVinci Code.

We chose our daughter's name for those exact reasons. Her name is Sienna. I love names that are are not on every second child that you come across but that are not too strange either.

My niece's middle name is Jontelle which I think is nice and also rather unique.

'Tia' is the name I gave my daughter. It means 'princess' and dates back to the days of Egyptian pharoahs. That's not why I chose it, but it's cool to know. Learning to write her name when she was little was so easy and now at the age of 16, it's a name that grows with her and she likes having a fairly unique name. Other names I quite like are Zoe (meaning life) or Willow. Good luck with your search.

I came up with Taegan (pronounced Tay gan), I thought it was unique as when I googled it in all the possible variations of spelling that I could think of I couldn't find it anywhere. Then my older daughter (Salem) came home and said there was a girl at school called Taegan - I couldn't believe it!!!
