hi!! I have psoriasis.. Hemp is brilliant.. it is a natural herb, smells a bit but works for me. get it from the health shop. amazing stuff. ive had all sorts from the doctor and this is the only thing that works and stops the itcing.. good luck with it.

I was on the steroid ointment also.It helped for a little while and then it kept coming back. I hope it helps you though...Good Luck.

I had Eczema on my body and my scalp. My Dermatologist told me to wash my hair in Johnsons Baby Shampoo and to bath In Oil Of Olay with Shea Butter, He also perscribed me an Ointment called Clobetasol Appropionate, It really helped.

Thanks! I have the steriod lotion, but would like to find the root cause if possible..Will look for oil of Olay tho..sounds gentle..

Thanks! Yes, I have been told by several Drs. have had allergy testing for 59 items, some allergy to wheat..Also recomended to use uncolored, unscented unpresserved products...

Are you positive that it is eczema first of all because they missed diagnosed my son for a year till I finally saw a specialist who knew and then she totally set up a regimen and viola know he is doing great three years later still has the condition but it is now manageable!

I wonder if allergies are linked? If so, does one need to be careful w/ kinds of shampoos and conditioners?

I would suggest using a heavy conditioner. Leave it in and put on a shower cap. Sleep in the shower cap overnight. Rinse your hear in the morning, If you have a lot itchiness, use a dandruff conditioner.
