Any ideas ladies on how to get my little gal to take better to the bottle?

I just went back to work and I pump but she will go literally all day with just taking a few ounces from a bottle. She will just sleep the day away versus waking up and playing for her normal longer times. If anyone has experienced this please let me know how you did it. I only work 2 days a week but gone for 12 hours and my daughter is 3.5 months old.

I have a little bub in my care at the moment who was the same! We just have persisted with her, and some days mum would come in to feed her, but a month later she will take a bottle from me or one of the other girls, maybe its just persistance.... good luck with whatever u try !

I switched both my children to the playtex bottles with drop in liners.....they were also breastfed! They didnt like regular nipples but took to the seemingly large playtex nipples right away!

My son also did this and the Playtex bottles with the drop in liners worked for us, but the key was the milk has to be slightly warmer than room temperature otherwise he wants nothing to do with the bottle.

We went through 5 different types of bottles until we found one that our son would take! Eventually, he took to the Playtex w. drop-in liners. The nipples were a little more like the shape of an actual breast and there are many different flow types. We used the tri-cut, so he could adjust his own amount of fluid intake. Hope this helps...

try a different kind of nipple, some babies are picky, try the big nipples and then just the regular, you can even try the silicone or the brown colored one.

have you tried giving her a little bit out of a cup? Can be messy but some kids don't like bottles. My daughter gave up on bottles as well (admittedly she was 9mth) and went straight onto a sippy cup. Sorry I can't be of any more assistance.
