I tried Curves for awhile and liked it while I was there. Pretty easy/yet effective works on toning and Cardio.

Hi,

I like to use www.everydayhealth.com it has a calorie counter with a data base of foods and activities. It has tools where your can calculate how many calories you burn (based on age, height, current weight) then you deduct like 500 calories a day to loss a pound a week. If you track your calories it will show you where your probelm lies. You can also have the foods you love-if you eat healthier the rest of the day. There are charts you can use to track your weight progress and inches lost. It has helped me stay on track and stay focussed even if I have a BAD Diet day. The next day is a fresh start.

Hope this helps and Good Luck!

What's your diet like?

If you can cut out all processed foods, white flour and sugar, pop, etc. then you will be much healthier and much more likely to lose weight. You may actually not be eating ENOUGH fat/calories or not the right type. Most whole, healthy foods (coconut oil, eggs, cheese, whole grain breads, fruits and veggies) will help a lot.

If your diet is good and you are exercising and can't lose weight, have a doctor check out your thyroid. Hypothyroidism causes weight gain/retention. My MIL ate a healthy diet (for the most part) and exercised daily and lost no weight. Then she started working on her thyroid with natural supplements and also eating a better diet for her blood type (turns out she needed lots more meat/fat) she lost weight effortlessly, about 20 lbs. so far with no exercising.
