I am really sorry to hear that!

well i dont have that, but i do have auto immune induced health problems. the main one i am dealing with for a couple of months now is a multi-joint, crippling arthritus that they think might be lupus, but are not sure yet.

so i understand how angering/depressing it is when you are too sick to hold, or sometimes even care for your own child.

I have a 7 month old and as the months have passed, and my health declined, i have had to deal with the frustration of having days when i needed someone else to do tend to her, while i just sat there and watched. Sometimes when there wasnt anyone to help just yet and she would need something, i knew she wanted me to fix it. she would look up at me, right in the eyes, and cry. i knew she must have been thinking 'why arent you helping me mommy?' it is heartbreaking at times, but i guess that is just something we need to deal with.

we have to accept that there are just somethings we cant do, and then we need to learn to work around it and make the most of the things we can do. and make the most of the time we can spend with our children.

I hope the docotors can help you find a successful treatment or at least something that helps, but for the most part i have noticed that most doctors are rather in the dark about auto immune dissorters. However there is always God and we can always pray, and have faith, because with him all things are possible.

Hi,  I'm from PA.  I was diagnosed with vertigo in 1995 and have a permanent sensation of motion from inner ear problems.  It feels like I am standing on a moving bus.   I left my full time job as a secretary to work at home as an artist in 1997.  Over a year later,  we were surprised to find out that I was expecting.  What a great blessing!  My daughter, Vanessa is now ten years old.
