We are going to make our first trip soon with our triplets and want to know what would be the best portable high chair that would also work at restaurants so we can get the most use out of it?

We bought folding, plastic lined chairs that clamp onto the table with a tray (that is also removable).  They fold almost flat in the car, and are easy to carry into the resturant, and they don't have to be out in an aisle in a high chair that may or may not have been cleaned!  We bought them at target for 14.99 each.  We currently have twin girls that are 20 months old, and started using them as soon as they could sit up and continue to use them today.  We love them!  Happy travels!

Take a look at www.babyuniverse.com

we found their sit n stroll.. not sure if they have anything for multiples. This is a really nice car seat that pulls to a stroller and you can use it as a booster seat in restaurants. What is even nicer is it is FAA safe. Simply meaning, if you fly, this seat goes on board with you and is used once again as a car seat.

Not sure if this is something that can help you, but it's all I got, hope it helps.

I have a foldable/inflatable one I bought from target. It is very compact and with you needing three of them, it would be very convienent. It is made the first years company. It has a valve on the back and you just pull it out and it inflates and then push the seat down and defaltes. It does not have a tray so they would need to sit and use the table. Our daughter is 10 months tomorrow and she has been using it at the babysitters for over 2 months now. I wish you the best of luck! It also has carry straps and fits to adjust almost any chair.

Hi!  I loved the Fisher Price-Healthy Care Booster Seat.  Wal-Mart sells them for about $28.  (they say they sell them only on-line, but I bought mine years ago in the store) They fold down, have a carry strap, easy to clean and fit in any chair.  I didn't use a high chair for my last baby because I used this instead so she could sit at the table with us.  I took it everywhere and always got compliments on it.  It is a great product, of course what isn't by Fisher Price!  Here are the fine details:

Portable and adjustable to any table, this booster seat lets your child eat meals elsewhere safely and comfortably. With a feeding tray you can sanitize in the dishwasher, and the snap-on lid in place, it stays clean between uses. Take it wherever you go and be confident your child's tray is truly clean. Special pricing only available online.

Dishwasher-safe feeding tray

Snap-on lid keeps feeding tray clean

3 height adjustments

Back and tray remove for older child

3-point restraint system

Front and rear straps adjust to fit virtually any chair

Adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to carry

Easy-clean seat with no crevices to trap food and crumbs

Convenient towel bar

Dimensions: 13" H x 15.5"W x 19"L

Model No. B7275

Good Luck!
