He is waking up twice a night. Unfortunatealy, I am so tired that I just nurse him back to sleep. I know it's bad. I just don't know what to do. I am not big on letting him cry either.

I really don't know wat to say coz im going through the same thing. My Lo is 4 and half months and does the same. But, most the time she's just using me as a dummy to get bk to sleep. Tried giving ehr a dummy but she won't take to it. Really starts to hurt now coz she as she's not feeing properly she's not latched on like she wld b wen she feeds. Have to wait up to an hr for her to come off on her own if I take her off she wakes up wide awake and crying till I put her bk on.
Other ppl have advised for me just to put her in her moses basket and let her cry herself to sleep. But, I haven't the heart to as I feel so awful for doing so.

My daughter Is 14months and still does not sleep throught the night. But if I place her in the play pin where she was for the first couple of months when she was born. she sleeps just fine.

Oh my goodness...I'm not the only one. My daugher is also almost 9 months and she wakes up every 2 hours! I found that Abigail isn't hungry though....so I don't have to nurse her until around 4-5 am. I assume that he is getting 3 meals a day ( stage 2 baby foods?) I started giving Abigail 3 oz of formula at bedtime after I nursed her. It hasn't really worked for me....but maybe it will for you. My daughter is just UP and as soon as we pick her up...she falls asleep within 2-3 min! I haven't tried the cry is out method but I may have to soon because it is very exausting...I know. I just want to let you know....that we're in the same boat! Let me know if someone contacted you with an answer:).......I just read about the teething. Abigail was teething, but she has not teeth popping at the moment, so that may not be it. My Dr. said that some babies are just up all the time and maybe that is the case...who knows.

Well, if he is teething good luck. We had to prop up my daughter because the pressure when she was lying down hurt. Hope it helps.
