I didnt have much of a problem with my son's they wanted to be like thier dad. So, what I did was brought a bucket that just hit their knees and placed it next to the tolit. Now on the other side of the bathroom was a pottie and when he said he had to go and need some help I knew it was no# 2. I guess I was lucky!

We used Cheerios to aim at in the toilet! Made it a cool little game. Also we bought rolls of pennies and gave them a penny each time they made it in time. Bribery never hurts! haha Good Luck

try a ping pong ball in the toilet and make it in to a game plus use sticker charts and if he does a full week of hitting the bal and getting stickers get him a treat of some sort

I had two daughters before I had my son. Shortly after we had him, my husband and I seperated. By the time he was two, my ex had moved across the country, so I had no one to help me or teach me how to train him. I was absolutely lost! I read in Bby magazine to put a penny in the toilet(it will not flush, just stays in the bottom). I put him on his step stool and showed him the penny and challenged him to hit hit by giving him a gummy bear or treat every time he did. Surprisingly it worked really well!

Along the same lines as the other's, my hubby says throw a cork or other floatable item (that isnt going to block the toilet up!) and tell him to aim for it

My mom used to put a few cheerios in the toilet and made my brother try to sink them.

With my boys I would tell them when they had on their big boy underwear (not pull ups) that usually had a character on them such as Mickey Mouse , that Mickey couldn't swim so they better try to make it to the potty! And I would also drop fruit loops in the toilet and tell them to try to hit the fruit loops...I know...sounds crazy but it worked...
