I am looking for some good suggestions on umbrella strollers. I need one that is lightweight, reclining backrest and easy to travel with. Also, my husband is fairly tall (6'2'') so the handles need to be somewhat high. Cup holders could be an option but not necessary. My son is in the 95 percentile for his age (11 months) so the traditional umbrella is out....need more support for him. I know the Maclaren is rated the best, but its a little out of my price range. We already have a full size stroller, but I need something smaller for an international trip (on flights and European cobblestone). Thanks for suggestions:)

I have a Mia Moda Cielo. Love how compact it folds up, when we are on a tram at Disneyland it can sit on my lap. Gets some getting use to to fold, but is lightweight. It has open sides which my daughter loves, I think it makes her feel like she not in a stroller. Found mine on Craigslist after searching everyday. New I think you can find one for around $170.

If you are still interested in the Maclaren I found mine on ebay brand new for really cheap and free shipping!? You should look into it.

We have the Silver Cross POP stroller. It is from birth onwards, 1 hand recline, 1 hand claps, hood, adjustable leg rest, 5 point harness, shopping basket underneath, cup holder. We went on holiday to Spain last september and got on really well with it. My son is 18 months old and weighs 2 stone, he sleeps in it so must be comfortable. It cost £115. Good luck and let me no which 1 you get.

Hi, I had the same requirements as you do :o) especially for travel.. I went with the Inglesina, it is a european brand but it is sold in the US. It is lightweight, but has the support they need plus it has 4 recline positions and also reclines flat which others out there don't.

I know Buy Buy Baby stock them I am not sure of any other places, I saw it in the store and them I actually bought mine online at another place as I found it it cheaper.
