My baby girl has a heart defect called double outlet left ventricle.she needs to have a surgery within the next 2 to 3 weeks in sick kids. I don't know what to expect in terms of post surgery care for a 3 month old baby. I am very worriedl at this point!

Make sure you ask the docs any questions you have when you go to Toronto. The surgeons taking care of such young babies are usually wonderful people with more people skills than some others, as they have to work with the parents to such a large extent as well as their actual patient. If there is any jargon you don't understand or something that doesn't make sense, don't feel stupid, just ask. Nobody will think anything the worse of you for asking for clarification or more details; everyone working with your baby girl will want you to feel prepared, able to cope and supported.

Hi Liz , yea in case of no Complications, she is gonna stay in hospital
For 2 weeks. The date of a surgery is not finalized yet but as soon as
It's finalized, we will be going to sick kids hospital in Toronto to find out

I sympathise with the level of the stress that this is causing you, because we always get concerned if our very young children need surgical intervention.
Have you talked to her doctors about the post surgical care, when she can come home and what it'll mean for you as a family?
