Baby acne is caused by scheduling an appointment for their first photograph!

That's normal while the baby's skin adjusts to being outside the womb. Just wet a soft washcloth with warm- not hot- water and you want it only damp, not soaking wet. Gently wipe your baby's face to keep it clean and do this several times a day. Be sure you don't do it too often though as it can dry out their delicate skin.

My son is now nearly 11 months, but when he was just a little baby he had baby acne. He had it for probably a couple of months, I never really put anything on it, just wiped his face with a warm washcloth. It will eventually clear up on it's own. Be careful putting anything on it, you know what you put ON his skin will absorb IN his body! Also be careful using too much hydrocortizone, that's got steroids in it (at least that's what I was told!). Hope this helps!

Doctor told me to use hydrocordizone. Both my girls had it
